    I think there is a distinction between the Crown Jewels (referring to the Coronation Regalia) and an heirloom of the Crown, which is used often in Roberts and introduces a new and useful expression which I like a lot.

    Also, I'll be sticking to the current, official name for that head ornament, much and all as I don't like the name.
    It is a generic term that could apply to many tiaras.
