1: I am sad to see the tiara leave the family - but if one must be a bit cynical - this is the only tiara they can sell that would fetch a decent sum of money (the diamond and turquoise cannot be sold, I think)... but
2: The estimate is high, I think, but nice for the family if it reaches the estimate.
3: I knew that there was used a rivere as a top frame - but always thought that it had been permanently mended to the frame - I wonder if the family also had thought that... Countess Ruth could have worn the rivere together with the diamond and turquoise tiara... but to my knowledge the rivere has never been worn on its own.
4: To me it is a bit strange that it is auctioned of in Stockholm - I would have thought that the family could reach a higher result if it was auctioned of in Denmark or Norway.
5: I wonder how the tiara looks without the rivere on top... do you think it can be worn this way?
