    This pendant made me wonder but I was unable myself to find a real good close up of it - thanks a lot for posting this!
    This could very well be a gift from Prince Daniel (or another family member) as it makes sense in a few ways - it seems to suit CP Victoria's taste in jewelry, which runs more towards either clean lines or sentimental designs, it looks still affordable, it's a good piece of day jewelry for more formal occasions, of which she has remarkably little, and it fits the small diamond earrings from Queen Viktoria's stomacher very well, which she frequently wears.

    For all of these reasons, the quite grand, intricate pink tourmaline parure of Queen Sophia is so very unlikely to have been bought by Prince Daniel for his wife.
    I'm quite certain that something got 'lost in translation' regarding the odd story of its double sale; and if it should be back with the Swedish royal family, I'd say it's far more likely that King Carl Gustaf bought it back for the Bernadotte collection and we might see it one day on Queen Silvia.
