Page 202 in the section Queen Mary's sautoir it is written :
- Queen Elizabeth (when Duchess of York) used Sintzenich to make a new sapphire and diamond chain pendant in 1929. It might be this necklace : (It used to think that this sautoir was made by Cartier severals months after her wedding). This sautoir might have been made from the sapphire necklace given by Queen Mary in 1923.
