    As far as I can see, it's only unreliable 'Svensk Dam' magazine which claims that the tiara used to belong to Princess Sibylla - I agree that this is most likely incorrect.
    The magazine also lists two rings from Princess Sibylla as being among the stolen items.

    The thief apparently had the keys to the Palace apartment, which means that this was the betrayal of a friend, which might make it even more hurtful.
    The strange part of the story is the one of the thief throwing the tiara into a river, but it's obviously true as all the current reports contain this information, including the fact that divers have been searching for it without success.

    The tiara, formerly belonging to Queen Sofia, was given to Christina as a gift by one of her godmothers, Elsa Cedergren. Elsa was the daughter of Count Oscar Bernadotte of Wisborg and, therefore, a granddaughter of Queen Sofia of Sweden, born Princess of Nassau.
