It was a Present from her rich grandfather Commandant Weiler. He gave also a jewel to the late Grand Duchess Josephine Charlotte which was among the items of the cancelled Auction in Paris. --Previous Message-- : I read somewhere (PDV?) that it was bought at : an auction in 1997 - so it wouldn't have : been a wedding present. : : --Previous Message-- : This Art Deco tiara is an interesting and : versatile piece indeed, IMO quite appealing : in both its larger and smaller setting – I’d : be curious to learn more about it as well: : : : : : : --Previous Message-- : Over on the Royal Order of Sartorial : Splendor : site, they posted a picture of Princess : Sibilla's tiara. It is a fabulous : convertible tiara. Does anyone have any more : information on the provenance of it or : anything about the beautiful ruby necklace : she frequently wears? Other pictures of : this lovely princess and her jewels would be : greatly appreciated too. thanks! : : : : :
