    We donīt know what the Perth brooch looks like.

    In the thread referred to below, there is some discussion about this brooch, with references to how it was described when the Queen received it in 1960, but no one can remember having seen it.

    The amethyst brooch actually pictured in the thread (worn at Royal Ascot) does not fit the description of the Perth brooch, but it has often been identified as such
