Indeed a matter of definition - I'd say the boundaries are fluent, as also seen for example on Queen Margrethe when she wear her floral tiara wrapped around her chignon instead of a 'strict' tiara way. The one annual white tie occasion in Monaco where Princess Grace used to wear a tiara was the gala at the Monte Carlo Opera in the evening of National Day; perhaps Princess Charlene will one day decide to continue that tradition. --Previous Message-- : : Beautiful photos of the Grimaldi females, : but.... when is a Tiara not a tiara?
