    sapphire anchor brooch Archived Message

    The diamond and sapphire anchor brooch was first seen on the young Queen Emma. It was most probably a gift from her husband Willem III.
    The last time this brooch was seen was on 29 May 1998 when (then) Princess Juliana wore it at the civil wedding of Prince Maurits and Marilène.

    It is a pity we do not see it more often!
