Overall this tiara to me donīt look very "Cartier". Indeed unbalanced it reminds me, too, to the sapphire parure of Queen Wilhelmina. It looks as made for a hive hairdo, for a lot of updressed hair as a background for the jewel. Something like this we find usually before the turn of the century or around I guess. But the baguette cut diamond (if the drawing is correct) are not to expected before the mid of 1920th. Very strange. Why the tiara is called "Cartier"? Is there any reliable source or reference?
