Who are the lady and the gentleman?

A few things took my attention:

    - the gentleman is showered with breast stars, he wears it at both sides of his coat

    - the gentleman seems to wear cravate blanche (white tie and tails) but he has a sword

    - a sword usually is connected to an official costume from, for an example, a Court dignitary, an Ambassador, a minister

    - the gentleman seems to wear a sword while he is not wearing an uniform (black buttons, black coat, no embroidery)

The lady looks very stylish. Maybe it is a Chamberlain, or a Grandmaster, or a high dignitary with his wife? The diadem looks different from the diadem of the Grand Duchess, which seems to have coloured centre stones in the rosettes.
