Its beautiful Lorenzo thanks for this picture.

Is the piece above the tiara for the "Belt" decoration? I put all the pieces on the body in my head but that top piece above the tiara not sure where it goes..I am guessing Belt or around the "umpire" waistline?

: This parure belongued to princess Augusta of
: Bavaria, daughter in law of empress
: Josephine. Always the same design in the
: palmettes, like in the cameo tiara or the
    : emerald norvegian tiara

: Yes indeed. While the complete parure would
: probably be rather overwhelming, parts of it
: could still be worn to great effect.
: The jewelry exhibition at the Nordic Museum
: Stockholm featuring the set will continue
    : until next spring.
    :
: In his entry, Trond also makes interesting
: connections to the Rosenborg lava parure and
: to a similar malachite parure which belonged
    : to Empress Joséphine.

: thanks Boris..I can totally see Queen Silvia
: in few pieces together from the parure...she
: can totally wear it and make it look even
    : more grand
    :
: Beautiful parure...metal work is very
: similar in style to cameo tiara frame...

: Yes, because the exhibition featuring the
    : parure is still ongoing.
: The link including the answer to 'Where is
: it now' can of course be found in Trond's
: blog entry - one would only have to read
    : it...
    :
: This is certainly an example of jewelry that
: can be considered as unwearable today (and
: was obviously considered by the Bernadottes
: to be unwearable already a century ago), but
: still - while wearing the complete parure
: might be too cumbersome, one piece at a time
: like the necklace only could be pulled off
: by someone like Queen Silvia, IMHO.
