Here are some private jewels of the RF of Italy, the Savoia Family:
Queen Margherita wearing her impressive emeralds and diamonds set mounted on a perls necklace

Queen Elena in the first years after her wedding wearing the diamonds flowers tiara (a wedding gift from her father-in-law the King). This tiara could be transformed in a crown by adding diamonds arches on top of the "daisies" motifs. This tiara, together with the emeralds and diamonds high tiara I posted below, disappeared after World War I, because we know that the Queen, as a gesture for the country, offered some jewels to be sold in order to pay the war expenses:
    HM Queen Elena of Italy
Queen Elena is wearing the emeralds too, together with another gift from her mother-in-law, Queen Margherita, an emeralds and diamonds tiara (made by dismantling some jewels belonging to Margherita). Of the emeralds set it exists still three elements not sold still in possession of the Italian RF, one as the centre of a pearls chocker belonging to Marina, Princess of Naples and the other two I saw on a necklace belonging to Princess Maria Gabriella:

    HM Queen Elena of Italy
Queen Elena had even lent her tiara to her sister-in-law, Princess Natalia of Montenegro, wife of Prince Mirko of Montenegro, the only son of King Nicholas I of Montenegro to have offspring (Mirko and Natalia are the grand-parents of the present pretender to the throne of Montenegro - Prince Nicholas). Princess Natalia's grand-mother was an Obrenovic, the rival family opposed to the Karageorgevich, who in the end succeeded to the Serbian, then to the Yugoslavian throne.
