Grace Kelly, Princess of Monaco, died on september 14th of 1982. 30 years after that fatal accident, i want to share with you some images of this woman, recently elected in UK as the most beautiful princess of the History (Prince Carl Philipp of Sweden as the most attractive man).In these pictures we can see the former Princess of Monaco, with some of her most famous jewels, as the Societé des Bains de Mer ruby parure (look at the picture with Caroline, in black and white, who is in her grandmother sapphire jewels, the pins are in her air, collier and little earrings, so it's clear Caroline inherited all the jewels, never used by Grace), composed by the three brooches, earrings later bought by her, and a ring.
In other picture we can see the Van Cleef and Arpels pearl parure, very used by the princess, as well as some emerald jewels, I think, loans, and her Grande Marguerite Parure sapphire parure, bought as well to Van Cleef, composed by earrings, brooch, bracelet and ring. The blue dress was used by Caroline some years ago, in a Princess Grace Awards in USA I think.
In the official State portrait of the princess, the semblance of the diadem vaguely remains me to Princess Charlotte tiara, maybe was a loan for the situation?
There is a picture of a fashion show in the Gallerie des Glaces of the Prince's Palace, where we can see the princess seated next to Queen Victoria Eugenia of spain (they were very close friends, as the spanish queen gave support to Grace in her role of Princess and defended her against the nule support of the european monarchies), who spent several terms in the Principality, in the Clos Saint Pierre, now residence of Caroline, and then residence of the Rainier father, Pierre de Monaco, aka Pierre de Polignac. But the surprise is the model: a young Brigitte Bardot.
