    New diamond cut plus further artificial treatment of the stones frequently result in a clarity which IMHO comes across as having less character, being less 'rich' than old mine cut diamonds in appearance.

    Which tiara are we talking about as borrowed from the mother of the bride?
    After the bridal diamond tiara was seen at the actual ceremony, there were two more tiara events at this wedding – here’s the bride dressed for the official introduction of the groom to the Court, in all-diamonds, and in emeralds at the wedding banquet:
