I'm going next Saturday and after reading this and previous visitors posts I'm getting 'a little' excited. My daughter works at a major London tourist attraction and she said that this week so many people have told her that they were going to see the Buckingham Palace exhibition. I was hoping that the crowds would be diminishing as it was coming to the end of its time, but obviously not. I will make sure that I take as long as I can to savour every single piece. The only trouble is we've got quite late tickets so they may have to throw me out if I'm not done! Thank you for your observations, I must make sure that I look out for all the things you've mentioned about fixings and adaptations etc. I think it is really funny when people make statements about things that are clearly wrong. I had a similar experience when I went to see the Queen's Diamond Wedding exhibition (Five Gold Rings) a few years ago. We were walking behind several people who were 'knowledgeably' talking about the jewellery and my husband poked me and said "whatever it is they are saying, ignore it because your face is contorting after every sentence". Perhaps we should all combine and offer our services as Guides!!
