Someone on this board saw this and the fringe tiara in one of the exhibitions and wrote that they were displayed with a card as being the property of the Sovereign Prince (at that time allready Albert II). We won't know for sure untill we see them on The Princess of Monaco. --Previous Message-- : As far as I remember, Princess Charlotte's : Cartier tiara was on display in a 2007 : exhibition of Grimaldi items (see below); : actually, there's no particular reason to : believe that it's not with the family : anymore. : : : : : --Previous Message-- : Do we know if the tiara is still in the : posession of the family or Caroline. I have : always found it very odd that both pieces : have not been seen for decades. If Caroline : still has them I suppose they will someday : be handed back to the main line (when : there's an heir). : : --Previous Message-- : I have had this strange fixation recently : concerning a series of Princess Caroline's : official photographs from 1980s in which she : can be seen wearing the pearl and diamond : tiara and the diamond fringe tiara as a : necklace. There are various similar : photographs but I could only find them in a : rather low quality or scan them from : magazines making the result even worse and I : thought that maybe someone might have a : higher quality version of these photos and : be kind enough to share. If not, I hope you : will still not mind my posting these : : : : : : : : : : : : : : :
