If we would know exactly how many pieces of jewellery were made perhaps but the pieces I can trace back certainly did not consume both the tiara and the necklace. The tiara was massive!
Remember that the elements from the matching necklace recently surfaced as extra ornaments on the sapphire necklace by Mellerio.
Why would they have kept only these elements? My bet is the necklace still exists in some form or shape.
--Previous Message-- : I fear that piece no longer exists. The : diamond and diamond and saphire earrings : Juliana gave to her daughters as well as the : smaller saphire and diamond brooch and : bracelet Margiet wears cannot have been made : from just the tiara. I think the tiara and : the necklace were both broken up to create : these smaller pieces leaving only the two : bracelets. : : --Previous Message-- : You mean the diadem haircomb which was not : seen for 100 years? Wasn't it this year or : last year for Queen Margrethe's Jubilee or : anniversary? : : You are right, chances on 'new' appearances : of long hidden treasures. At some : point : it had been said that the vaults still : contained several 'haircombs' and tiara : frames. Well a few years ago we were treated : to a small diamond tiara by Maxima.
