For me, those two headgears aren't comparable. The one of The Princess Royal (then The Princess Anne) is a plain headband with some decoration (straw?) on it. The description of a 'reduced fascinator' is very kind and well-meaning . It's lovely, but that's it.
Whilst The Princess of Monaco's one is a phantastic piece of jewellery with exquisite diamonds on the top of the spikes. Pity only, that HSH wore it the wrong way . Those wonderful stones were turned backwards....
But I know, slavon started this thread under the topic 'for fun' - and for fun, one can put these two pieces in one thread .
