the "haircomb" on Victoria is definitely bigger than the side view gave us the impression of...it almost looks like another tiara...wow, this is getting quite interesting...
--Previous Message-- : The pictures from inside on this link: : http://lux-arazzi.blogspot.com/ : you can see Prince Daniel at the end of the : rectangular table in the first photo. You : can spot him in other photos too. He is : seated next to a Princess of Jordan in : purple; sorry but I can't remember her name. : : If you see Princess Victoria, her tiara : looks brighter under the lights at the : dinner. You can see her in the very last : photo at the back. She is seated next King : Constantine. Even with a tiny view, her : tiara is very sparkly. : : : --Previous Message-- : A front pic from the Crown Princess. It : seems : HRH attended without Prince Daniel. She : entered the same way as Queen Silvia (who : was probably received by the Grand Duke. : Maybe they arrived a bit later). : : : : --Previous Message-- : This is most certainly an antique 'new' : tiara, : respectively a set - in the second half of : the 19th century, tiaras with matching : haircombs were already outdated. : As King Carl Gustaf has been buying back : other jewels during his reign, I would not : be surprised if this formerly belonged to : the Bernadottes as well. : (Although this cannot be Queen Sophia's pink : tourmaline tiara.) : We would quite urgently need a picture of it : from the front... : : : --Previous Message-- : Fabulous! A new tiara for Victoria, complete : with a hair comb. But the lack of a better : picture is a nusance. : : : : : : : :
