    Well... apparently one of the most popular but mind-boggling misconceptions regarding the current economical crisis is that it would be a good idea if those who have a lot of money, like every Royal Family, do NOT spend it...
    ...of course only the exact opposite would be beneficial for the economy, but this thought is obviously dismissed in favor of a rather hypocritical 'We're tightening our belts too' solidarity with 'the people' as the better PR strategy - and the public seems to buy this.
