I was just going through my pictures when something caught my eye in this picture from 1973, which shows Countess Rizzoli window shopping at M.Gerard's...
What caught my eye was this necklace...I knew I have seen it somewhere and than it hit me that Queen Elizabeth II has worn it what looked like altered version (removed two sapphires to create earrings), which consisted of Diamonds and sapphires.... My question is...When did the Queen acquire this necklace and why did we only see her wear it once in 2005, many years later than 1973 when my original picture was taken, which shows the necklace already existed...?
