I was wondering the same about the long-announced book.
The publishing date of "De kongelige juveler" by Bjarne Steen Jensen and Anna von Lowzow has been postponed to December 31, 2014 on most internet sites which feature it, which is very odd... it seemed to be a done deal to publish it following the broadcast of the series which appeared to make sense commercially.
If the 2014 date doesn't mean 'postponed indefinitely', it could be a mixed blessing - an endless wait but perhaps rather more and updated content.
Perhaps Bjarne could provide some info here? Those photos of the ruby parure were actually made for the TV series by the way.
