    I assume the gentleman on the picture must be the groom, Archduke Robert of Austria-Este. The apple does not fall far from the tree, regarding Archduke Lorenz (so father, so son).

    Margharita's paternal grandfather was King of Spain, her paternal grandmother was from an antique aristocrat family, her maternal grandfather was the Comte de Paris, her maternal grandmother was a princess of the House de Bourbon d'Orléans. Her father was the Duke of Aosta, her mother was a princess of the House de Bourbon d' Orléans and finally her late husband was the second son of the last Emperor of Austria.....

    In theory lots of sources to build an impressive collection of inherited or bequeathed jewels. I believe Archduchess Margharita and her sister Princess Maria Christina de Bourbon-Deux-Siciles were always well bejewelled ladies.
