'Cataloging' is most definitely not how I would describe my jumbled system of files! They are in desparate need of organizing.
I rely on a fairly good memory but lately I have been finding things I completely forgot I had. What is most frustrating is when I can not find an image which I know I have somewhere.
I do like to find photos which can give great comparisons like the ones you mention.
