Hi BarbaraD! Yes, some interesting pieces. The Wheat Sheaf Tiara catches my eyes, too. Itīs a indeed delicate jewel, I like it and its versatility. Question to all: The side shows the brooches with the wheat sheafs upside, like on the field. I would prefer to wear them the other side round because of the ties of the ribbons. The design might be made to wear the bows above... Whatīs your opinion? --Previous Message-- : While talking about jewellery collectors of : non noble/royal provenance, such a : collection will be auctioned next week in : London. It's "The Aucion of the : Jewellery Collection of the Late Michael : Wellby: An Eclectic Eye - Jewels Spanning : Four Centuries" from Sotheby's London, : 11 December 2012. : : Lot No 28 is a very pretty Devant de : Corsage , No 166 a lovely and very versatile : Wheat Sheaf Tiara , which can be worn in : many different ways . Many other nice : brooches, devant de corsages, necklaces can : be found. There's also another tiara ( Lot : No 43 ), which I'm not particularly fond of. : : But all in all an impressive jewellery : collection and I wouldn't mind the one or : other piece . :
