The main guest is seated next to the Queen, with the Duchess of Cornwall on his other side - his consort or the second highest ranked guest is seated across the table between the Duke and the Princess Royal.
This is different from the banquets at Buckingham Palace, where there is a horse-shoe shape for the table, and the Queen, her husband and the highest ranking guests all sit at the main table.
