Crown Princess Mette-Marit wore an interesting (new?) pair of earrings at the Nobel ceremony in Olso last week. To me it looks like at least three different stones: amethyst, aquamarin, citrine (?), possibly a fourth, since two colours are arranged differently on each earring.
She looked smashing, I thought, and I'd love the earrings even if they were vintage fashion jewellery (which the setting might indicate, at least in the low-resolution picture I've been able to find).
