This is the Parure made for Queen Emma by Van Kempen in 1879:
The parure was broken up to create new jewels in 1897/8 for Queen Wilhelmina. In 1897 this famous portrait was made by Therese Schwartze of Queen Wilhelmina with the upper part of the tiara and the necklace attached to her bodice.

That would : only need a diamond base to create a very : impressive star and pearl tiara. Im hoping : they will keep it for Amalia when she turns : 18. : : --Previous Message-- : With all these pearshaped pearls and stars : in : the Orange-Nassau collection, they can : create similar diadems. On royaldutchjewels : (now offline) it was written that there is : still a similar diadem as Princess : Benedikte's in the collection, originally : the top half of an old diadem. : : Beautiful screenshot. : : --Previous Message-- : It is a screenshot from the documentary : : I can't wait for the book to be released : : : : : : : :
