    I cannot believe I have missed that...tss.
The exhibition of the Schmuckmuseum Pforzheim is open until January 27, 2013. So who want to see it, hurry up. I´m in doubt if I will be able to go there.
Which is very sad because a lot of interesting piece are presented, the tiara of the Countess of Flandres, the Hanoverian pearl tiara and, tata, the pearl tiara of Archduchess Valerie of Austria (or what is left of it).
This pieces all seems to be now in Quatar.
Here the homepage of the museum:

: In Diana Scarisbrick's book 'Tiara', she
: describes it in part as 'from a German
: princely family', so perhaps it was
: originally owned by the Hanovers. Also, the
: information was attributed to S.J. Phillips,
: perhaps they sold it to Albion.

    : It's a beautiful piece.
: Can someone explain why it is called
: Hannover tiara? Is it known who sold it to
    : the Albion institute?
