Hi! In the Cartier book written by Hans Nadelhoffer, the author talks about an emerald parure owned by the Leuchtenbergs, and originally in the Beauharnais family, that was sold in the 20's and bought by "a Paris syndicate to which Cartier's belonged (...) The jewels were broken up in Paris, despite a subscription organized by the Louvre to prevent this".
Do you know more about this parure? Any photo? It's the first time I heard about this! Another Napoleonic parure lost!
