I hope she'll not wear the Van Kempen tiara, but leave it for her oldest daughter. It would make a good tiara for the heiress to the throne, maybe like the floral tiara has always been for Beatrix.

: Oh dear...is the engagement gift headgear
: wearable at all??? And there are two of
    : those "modern design
    : head...things" if I am correct... both
    : unwearable.
    :
: Apart the grander tiaras, reserved to HM,
: she had many chances to wear the
: Ears-of-Wheat and the Laurel Leaf but it
: seems she really does'nt favour these
: pieces. Perhaps Pss Máxima does not like
    : vegetable motifs tiaras.
: As to the Van Kempen, it would be really
: fabulous if she could get it out of the
: vaults and worn again! If Queen Willermina's
: diamond haircomb has seen the light of day
: again after 100 years why not the Van
    : Kempen?
    :
: I'm keeping my fingers crossed, I'm positive
: we'll get to see it some day .

    : Still to go:
: - the engagement gift headgear
: - the top part of the Van Kempen Diadem
    : - the Ears-of-Wheat Diadem
: - the Laurel Leaf Diadem
    : - the Württemberg Diadem
: - the Diadem from the Mellerio Sapphire
    : Parure
: - the Diadem from the Stuart Parure
    :
: plus so many more colliers, corsages,
: brooches, etc. the Princess has not worn
: yet. Still I am hoping on a new addition to
: complete the sets with the turquoises, the
: orange citrines, the amethysts and hopefully
: some montures here or there forgotten.
