I don't think she should hide by any means, but by her actions in trying to attain recognition as a daughter of King Albert have gone against her, due to her very public comments. Anyway, I would love to see other photos of the choker, it looks very ornate. I wonder if it's all diamonds?

: I'm inclined to agree with you Henri. If
: King Albert is truly her father, Delphine
: has not done anything with her various
: actions and opinions to endear herself to
    : His Majesty.
: The piece of jewelry is interesting, but I
: find that the photo gives Delphine a hard,
: unpleasant look. Her recent statements
: haven't helped her again, better that she
: took after the late Prince of the
: Netherlands illegitmate daughters and keep a
: private life out of the press glare.

: Delphine is, legally, born in the marriage
    : of
: Jonkheer Jacques Boël and Baronesse Sybille
    : de Sélys-Longchamps.
    :
: The father has never fought the paternity of
: Delphine and the King has never acknowledged
: the paternity, so when ends meet, Delphine
    : is a Boël.
    :
: Very strange that the lady makes such a
: hullabaloo about the possible paternity of
: the King. She has always been in privileged
: circumstances, been given the best
: opportunities and very little to complain,
    : in retrospect.
