Both the top cluster and the drops of these earrings come from the earrings included in Robert's QD, referred to as the Duchess of Gloucester's Pendant Earrings. The scrolling frame could be detached and the studs worn simply with the pendant pearl. Nowadays these earrings have been separated into two separate pairs, the cluster tops are worn separately as stud earrings. And the pendant pearls and the scrolling frames are suspended from a single solitaire diamond and worn separately as earrings. These are referred to as 'The Duchess of Teck's Earrings' and 'Queen Mary's Pendant Earrings' respectively by Field. --Previous Message-- : Yes, definitely. : : --Previous Message-- : are the tops of these earrings the same ones : that Fields calls "The Duchess of : Teck's Earrings"? : : --Previous Message-- : : Circles necklace and beautiful earrings : : 2810458 is the Royal Collection number. : : : : : : : :
