Well it means to me that Princess Beatrix could attend her son's investiture wearing the jewels she wore on her own with the new Queen still wearing the antique pearl tiara or the diamond and pearl tiara with the big pearl necklace and the strawberry leaf pearl brooch and Russian diamond and pearl stomacher.
Btw Beatrix and her granddaughters are to be seated on chairs from 1808, that means from the Royal Palace in Amsterdam. Im putting my money on the mahogony chairs with gilded lions. Wilhelmina, Beatrix, Irene and Armgard were seated on them in 1948. I also think Beatrix, Catharina-Amalia, Alexia and Ariane will form the first row and the rest of the family behind them. That would leave Constantijn, Laurentien, Margriet, Pieter, Mabel, Irene and Christina for the second row and the rest of the family for the following rows.

: That is interesting, I thought it was a simple

: there are different clasps, of course.
: Interesting that the Dutch royal ladies
: seldom wear a clasp à la the Duchess of
    : Cornwall: in the middle.

: A rare example is this one worn by the
