None of the Dutch royals have ever publicly spoken about the substantial family collection of jewels, individual pieces or their preferences. At least not that I know of. There's much speculation........ From the lack of information coming from the palace and the RVD on this subject we can only gather that untill now they considered it strictly a private matter. Probably also the very reason why an all compassing book on the collection was never published with full consent and access thus giving us no good photos and background information and without those nice lesser known facts and trivia. Perhaps things will change in future. I believe the collection is quite unique and deserves a well documented and royal approved book or documentary. One day.....
