Queen Maxima (I have to get use to writing that LOL) wore this large insect brooch for the first time and we all thought it was a new addition to her jewel casket..well, all of a sudden Princess Irene wore this same exact brooch during her sisters abdication..well, this tells me personally that this piece HAS to be from the Dutch vaults and not something that was purchased for Maxima..we know that former Queen Beatrix has worn some other insect brooches but this one is quite large and all diamonds with ruby accents in the eyes. What do you think of my observation? I am posting a closeup of this brooch. enjoy
