Other emeralds in the queen's collection are large detachable pendant drops than can be substituted for pear-shaped diamond drops in a pair of long diamond scallop-frame earrings with ribbon-bow studs that the queen haw worn with the godman necklace.
Concerning collet necklace, queen elizabeth has one least 3 diamond collet necklaces apart from the coronation one and queen elizabeth's ones :
- queen alexandra's diamond collet necklace - an other one from queen mary (a longer one)- certainly worn in new zealand and in wales - one worn as a princess and certainly worn for the openning of the 2012 olympic games. The one worn for the return banquet might be the queen alexandra's diamond collet necklace because the necklace is short - but I am not sure -

--Previous Message-- : : Thanks for the info, Franck. I have never : seen them being worn with a diamond pendant. : I wonder if Field was confusing them with : the similarly shaped but larger earrings : which have diamonds that can be interchanged : with emeralds. : : As for the collet necklace, those can be : quite tricky if not impossible to identify. : I will have to dust off some pics. . . : : :
