I think that the best tiara events for 2013 are already behind us: the accession of King Willem Alexander and Madeleine’s wedding.
Afaik, there’s a state visit from Vietnam to Denmark planned for Sept. 18th. And there might be a couple of more state visits in autumn.
A few days later, on the 21st, Prince Felix will marry his Claire. I guess that we’ll see a bridal tiara and some nice jewels on the guests, but I don’t think that there will be a full blown tiara gala, as there was for the heir’s wedding.
No date yet for the wedding of Andrea Casiraghi and his Tatiana. But those two seem so unconventional, that I don’t expect a big bash. I won’t be surprised if they get married in a very beach party somewhere in Brazil, with the bride adorning herself with some flowers and a hippie dress from her own Munzugu Sisters collection.
Unfortunately it seems, that there won’t be a jubilee gala reception for King Carl Gustav, nor a birthday gala for Queen Silvia.
I might be a fairly dull time, until the never failing Nobel season arrives in December.
In summer 2014 Prince Henrik will celebrate his 80th birthday. Knowing the Danish royals, that should be celebrated with a nice glittering gala dinner at least .
