Latest addition to my bookshelves is the catalogue of a Lux. exhibition (30 Nov. 1990 - 6 January 1991) which contains an overwhelming load of info on the Luxembourg jewel collection. Close-ups of tiaras, rose-brooches, diamond rivières etc. Plus much on the extensive grand ducal collection of silverware (tableware) and some great reproductions of special portraits of Grand Duchess Charlotte wearing much jewelry and Grand Duchess Joséphine-Charlotte.

I bought it through my longtime trusted secondhand-bookshop and am just so pleased I ordered it, not even imagining how much info & gorgeous pics it would contain!
Adding here a pic from last years' pre-wedding gala where bride-to-be Stéphanie is wearing the floral tiara that is described in detail in this catalogue as well as the silverware on the pic is mentioned!
Did any of you see this exhibition in person perhaps? At that time I had become a first-time mother so did not get to see it myself Would love to hear an eye-witness account !!
