I´m sorry, but I agree with Marianne. These are not trivialities, but symptomes of what is going on with this board the last time. What I can see are discussions about what couturier one lady wears, how another lady should not wear her hair and about the royal or not royal enough behaviour of a third lady. There is also a lot reminds me of yellow paper talking. This indeed unique board is what I understand about jewellery - history, art and function.
--Previous Message-- : Pfffff....Marianne it is too hot to make a : fuss about such trivialities. I like to read : the contributions on this board and Im sure : I'm not the only one. : : : --Previous Message-- : No, am sorry to say but that's far from it : all as it is not the first time you : endulge in royal fashion replies... : : We all know this is a very unique Board : which has clear focuss on jewels! : Royal jewels !! : : Over the years many riddles have been solved : by a combination of dedication & : expertise plus true interest in the subject : and a willingness to share it all here. : Quite a few authors/experts have shared : their views & insights here too, but : most of them have left due to what (trying : to be diplomatical here now) can be labelled : 'common internet behaviour' by various : people. : Which was and still is a great pity! : Seeing how many long-time posters still make : great efforts & go to great lenghts in : drawing attention to beautiful jewelry and : its royal history/connection, I find it a : great pity to see the Board being (ab)used : this way now. : : I am sure I am not alone when I say I want : the old Board back .... where we all would : discuss royal jewels and share pics & : search for more background information : (books/exhibits etc.) and where we all would : be delighted when finding unexpected : treasures ! : : There's only 1 Royal Jewels Message Board : you see! : And we have to maintain a reputation !! : : : : : : :
