Many thanks to Henri for your explanation and also all others . I do see your point and will now share that thought/belief.
I'm still surprised how "little" she had for her self and how much apparently was on loans.
Another surprise to me, is how rare through out the years, we have seen old family pieces worn by her doughters.
Do we now if their grandmother, HSH princess Charlottes stepmother, princess Ghislaine, who was married to Louis II. The last three years of his life. Had been given some family pieces? She lived I dowry until her death in 1991. ?
