Thanks windsorfan...it is lovely to have a report on this years exhibition. I went last year & it is difficult to think it was 12 months ago! The room where all the diamonds were on display was darkened & so the diamonds really glistened in the dark. There was Queen Victoria's little crown, Queen Alexandra's Kokoshnik tiara, Queen Mary's Delhi & Girls of GB tiaras, all the Cullianan pieces in the Royal Collection, the Williamson brooch, the waterfall brooch & the coronation necklace & earrings. And finally as you were about to leave the George IV diadem. It was fantastic...I made a note in my diary when I was having tea afterwards to make sure that I remembered all the pieces we had seen! I have subsequently found this on Youtube video which really shows what it was like & brings it all back!
