I just looked Into a fairly new book about Arje Griegst. It is written by Kerstin Wickman.
And here we find the best close ups of the Tiara that I have ever seen. Arje who sadly suffers from Parkinson's now, stated following about the Tiara.
HM QM II wanted a Tiara ore a hair comb that would express our present time (1970's) and she gave me free hands in creating this piece.
I have created a a summer field full of poppys. The light brise trough the air makes the poppys dangle in the wind on their thin strings. Surrounded by humming insects being curious for the precious stones which symbols water drops etc.
And here we have a close up of a pair of matching hair combs set on turtle. Both the Tiara and the hair combs are made out of 18 & 21 carat gold.
