When I looked closely with my eyes at the picture of Lady Fermoy (with her husband and two daughters) and of Frances on the day of her wedding to then-Viscount Althorp in my magazines, I could see the tiara worn by Lady Fermoy and by Frances appear to be one and the same tiara. Since Frances was in the picture with Lady Fermoy and the others when she was at the time not married to Viscount Althorp, I decided that Lady Fermoy's tiara has to be the Fermoy family tiara. Lady Fermoy was not born in a noble family while her husband, the 4th Baron Fermoy, did; therefore, the tiara has to be from his father's family. His mother was then Frances (Work) Burke Roche, an American citizen.

Thus, my conclusion from this is the fact that the tiara is Fermoy family tiara. I would very much like to see a picture that shows whether Frances' sister (shown in the family photo) did wear this same tiara when she herself got married. Ditto for Frances' sister-in-law who married her brother, the 5th Baron Fermoy.
