I'm convinced it's made of different gold (yellow/red/white). HM wears this brooch with one interruption(?) since 2003 (I'm not sure about the brooch in 2012, maybe it's the same, maybe another feather brooch). Could this brooch be a gift from the Braemar Games for HM's Golden Jubilee in 2003: The Chieftain Feather for The Chieftain?
