    From Pope-Hennessy's 'Queen Mary' page 183. Among the gifts of jewellery given to Princess May on her 21st birthday: "Uncle George, Aunt Augusta & Mama gave me a lovely pearl & diamond heart brooch between them". He didn't write that were any heart brooches among her confirmation presents.

    Can't see if there are pearls in the brooch, though.
