Well Pia I suppose the Chinese use the many Tiara-books that were published in the last decade to make their copies. Most of the tiaras on sale are very well known pieces. Besides that most of these tiaras are ofcourse bought by brides (to be) who usualy don't want coloured stones in their headgear. --Previous Message-- : Thank you for sharing your collection, John in : Assen! I had never thought of actually : purchasing reproductions, but I somehow like : the thought. : : Do any of you know if there are any well : made reproductions of tiaras with coloured : stones? If I were to purchase, I would love : the Vladimir set with the Cambridge : emeralds, the Danish Ruby Parure Tiare in : Queen Ingrid’s setting or the Danish Pearl : Poiré Tiara. But I guess Danish tiaras may : be less known in the neighborhood around : China : :
