    It is. The picture is based on the photographs of the young queen made in 1897 when she dressed in a ballgown with the ermine cloak. The necklace of the Van Kempen parure was pinned to the bodice of the dress and the toppart of the tiara was worn.
    Thérèse van Duyl-Schwartze painted the famous portrait of the queen with photos from the same shoot that took place in the summer of 1897 at Soestdijk Palace.
