HRH Princess Ingeborg had a few nice tiaras.

I never underdtood why she didn't left any of her tiaras to her Belgian grandchildren. Perhaps she wanted to keep her tiaras into the Scandinavian royal houses of wich she all belonged. Born a princess of Denmark, married into the Swedish one and untill 1905 also the Norwegian one.

Beside that, Astrid married into the Belgian family wich had a large amount of jewels at that time. Every time Astrid gave birth, she received a tiara! Her granddaughter Josephine-Charlotte maried into the Luxemburg one wich had a very nice collection of jewels and tiaras!

Somewhere I can understand why she left her tiaras to her Swedish-Norwegian-Danish grandchildren. The history of those jewels was connected with all Scandinavian royal houses, not the Belgian or Luxemburg.

The tiara that she is wearing here is unknown but reminds me of a tiara worn by Countess Ruth of Rosenborg and Princess Anne of Denmark.

The design looks a bit like the coronation-necklace of hercsister-in-law, Queen Maud of Norway!
